The release will be accompanied by her debut music video, produced by Tame Rabbit. Read morebarriers and drove through the repair work. Then another rain came and sat in the damaged spots. An engineer is coming to town this week to help us figure out the most economical solution. Even just repairing the deep holes we are looking at very expensive job. The town will be getting recommendations of how to correct the drainage and then do the repairs. There may some grant money available but not enough to pay for the project so they project will be completed a little at a time. The town has always been proud that they get great reports from out Audits every year and they are not ‘Broke’ as some citizens have reported. Actually, the auditor reports we are in better financial shape than most towns our size. We are able to pay our bills and not have any outstanding debt. We did lose money in our water and sewer fund this year, but the system did have a lot of out of the ordinary repairs. To offset some of the loss the council voted to raise water/ sewer/garbage rates starting in August. The minimums of water will increase $2 a month, sewer $1, $2 rural water and $1. So, the intown user that has water, sewer and garbage will see a $4 month increase. The last time rates were raised was in 2023.
