Pilant Family New Owner of Allen Quick Pic

The Allen Quick Pic changed owners recently when the paperwork was signed transferring the business from Dianne Hodo to Sammy and Paula Pilant. The new owners have returned to their hometown roots after retiring in Texas. Sammy left the oilfield earlier this year and Paula returned to Allen after years of teaching in Texas.

Transportation Bond Election February 9

Allen Public Schools will be having a special election on February 9 . The special election will be asking the public to approve a $420,000.00 transportation bond. The bond will be used to purchase three (3) new school buses (two new route buses and one new activity bus), a new suburban, a drivers’ education car and Ag truck.
