Service held for Robert Chapman

Robert Kenneth Chapman, 72, of Atwood, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on August 6, 2025. Born on October 15, 1952, in Lindsay, California, Robert was the beloved son of Kenneth James (Jim) Chapman Jr. and Edith (Edie) Merle (Krohn) Chapman. Robert graduated from Lindsay High School and built a respected career as a skilled welder in the industrial sector, earning a reputation for precision, dedication, and craftsmanship. On September 23, 1978, in Strathmore, California, he married Brenda—the absolute love of his life. Together, they shared forty-six beautiful years filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion.
A man of many passions, Robert was a collector at heart. His treasures ranged from PEZ dispensers and antique firearms to rare coins, books, and curiosities of every kind. He had an eye for the unique and a deep appreciation for the stories behind each item. He was also a proud connoisseur of beer, often pairing his brews with legendary backyard BBQs and home-cooked meals that brought family and friends together.
Robert’s love for his family was boundless. He was the kind of father whose wisdom and warmth made everything feel possible. “If Dad can't fix it, it won't be fixable,” was more than a saying—it was a truth lived by those who knew him best.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his humor, his generosity, his incredible cooking, and the way he made every moment count.
Robert Kenneth Chapman’s life was a tapestry of love, craftsmanship, and curiosity. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Chapman, brother David Chapman and spouse Martha, daughter Tiffi nie Mairel and spouse James, daughter Tanya Williamson and spouse Kerry, son Kenneth Chapman and spouse Savannah,his grandchildren Ryan Breeding, Olivia Robertson, Felicia Taylor, Bailey Mairel, Kobe Chapman, Terrian Harris, Markhel Harris, Savannah Chapman, Lindsey Chapman, and Bobbie Chapman, his great-grandkids Mason Taylor, Shyann Stubbs, Kaden Breeding, Brysen Robertson, Luke Stubbs, Eli Robertson, Forrest Chapman, Everestt Chapman, Gwen Taylor, Oaklee Chapman,. And many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert is preceded in death by his son Collin Chapman, his parents Kenneth (Jim) Chapman Jr. and Edith (Edie) Chapman, his brother John Chapman, and his nephew Cory Chapman.
