Cynthia Barnes

Cynthia Jeanie Davis Barnes, 71, of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away on April 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jeanie was born in Ada, Oklahoma on September 21, 1953 to her parents James Stephens and Barbara Iker. She graduated from Allen High School in 1972. Jeanie was married to Terry Davis earlier in her life and then later married her second husband Keith Barnes on February 1, 2013, they spent twelve years together until Keith’s passing. Jeanie worked in Vanoss and Pickett school cafeterias surrounding the Ada area throughout her working life, she truly adored and enjoyed providing meals for children.
Jeanie liked spending time going to Walmart and Sams. She also loved her grandkids and she always wanted to spend time with them. During Jeanie’s time in Ada, she attended church at Center Free Will Baptist and Legacy Church. While she lived in Mustang, she attended Clear Springs Church. Jeanie enjoyed outings with the church ladies, their group name was “Golden Girls”.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her grand “Dad” Ira Iker Sr., her grandma “Mom” Clemmie Lucille Iker, her Aunt Jo Patricia Joan Roach, her Aunt Fran Frances June Nelson, her Aunt Judy Judith Woodall, her Uncle’s Leonard Iker, James Iker, and Phillip Iker, her biological father James Stephens, her biological mother, Barbara Iker, her first husband Terry Davis, and her second husband Keith Barnes.
Jeanie is survived by her uncle Ira Iker Jr., son Jason Davis and his wife Shelley of Mustang, Daughter Amanda Hair and her husband Andy of Ada, Daughter Fancy Estrella and husband Alex of Arizona, daughter Kasey Davis of Arizona, daughter Dawn Davis of California, her Grandkids Noah, Bailey, Aubrey, Jacob, Maddie, Kaylee, Taysir, Morgan, Lucy, Allie, Conner, Riley, Saphire, Winter, Alex Jr, Kinley, Kiri, Emily, Zayden, Zaylen, and Harper. Jeanie is also survived by many other loved ones and friends.
Jeanie loved her family so much and they knew it! She would do anything for anybody if she was able. A funeral Service will be held to honor the life of Jeanie at Phillips Funeral Home on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held before the service on Friday, April 18, from 8:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Pallbearers include: Noah Davis, Jacob Davis, Taysir Siddiki, William Bellville, Seth Johnson and Andy Hair.
