Tree trimming contractors for PSO have been in town this past week clearing limbs from the power lines. Hopefully this clearing will help keep the power on if we are hit with an ice storm this week. Also, PSO has installed some beautiful new lights down the median of Broadway. We appreciate all the extra attention they have given us during the last month.

Pictured above is the new pastor of The First Baptist Church of Allen. Steve Hall was called as their new pastor by the congregation Sunday, January 30, 2022. Pictured with Steve are his wife Kristin and daughter Noa. Steve and his family have made their home in Edmond where Steve was the Student Pastor at Waterloo Road Baptist Church since August 2017. Steve served as Student Ppastor at Allen First Baptist Church from June 2011 to March 2014. Since leaving Allen, Reverend Hall earned a BA in Religion at OBU in Shawnee and then in 2021 received his Masters in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The new pastor and family will be moving into the Baptist parsonage on Pecan Street in the near future.
