T a x - F r e e Weekend, or Sales Tax Holiday returns to Oklahoma this upcoming weekend. The state sales tax of 4.5%, as well as county and municipal taxes (which vary) will be waived the first weekend in August for Oklahoma shoppers. The Sales Tax Holiday allows shoppers to purchase certain items such as school supplies, art supplies, clothing, and certain electronic devices without having to pay sales tax on it.
