In August 2020, Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist, called Bobby Briggs as a bridge-pastor to temporary fill the pulpit after the retirement of longtime previous pastor Buddy Drake. After suggestions from the members and deacons, and prayer and consideration, Bobby Briggs accepted the position as full-time pastor in November of 2020.
