Area children need to start making their lists to be ready when Santa visits in downtown Allen on Saturday, December 16th. Since there won’t be snow for the reindeer to pull the sleigh, the Jolly Ole Man will arrive by fire truck at 2:00 p.m. and visit with children on west Main Street. Beginning at 2:30 the Allen First Baptist Church will be giving away free hot cocoa, coffee and cookies during a drive-thru event at the church’s parking lot. They invite everyone to stop by and grab a refreshment.

The choir, made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, will be singing in the Juliana Park. Singing groups will take the stage between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
